Bridal Beginnings is launching an updated website and I helped them do it! Wedding planning is a tough job, you have to appeal to the couple's creative side but in the end it always comes down to the 'ol pocketbook. Lucky for me, Bridal Beginnings helped with my wedding so I had an inside scoop on how they work. I helped the Bridal Beginnings team by doing the write-ups for their website as well as proof-reading and editing items already written.
I really enjoyed working on this because ultimately wedding planning is an art, so I felt my writing got to be a little more artistic than usual.
I've been doing work for the Big Town Real Estate Team for a while now. I've helped them with write-ups in brochures and on their website. There are tons of real estate agents out there so it's tough to set yourself apart. Working with Big Town was great because they have lots of 'extras' on their website, designed to help their clients. Working on brochures for specific houses (usually high-end) is interesting because each house has a different feel and you have to get the message across in as few words as possible.
